Feedback - Content:
While reading your classmates' work you should be looking to help them
with the following things by suggesting improvements:
- Does their essay respond to the instructions for
the assignment?
-state theme, describe 3 examples, explain examples by making reference
to theme statement
- Do their examples and explanations relate
directly to the theme they have stated in their
introduction(posé)?
Feedback - English:
Your essay is now in the final perfectionary
stages. That is to say that the subject and arguments are exact and
well explained, you are happy with the organisation, flow and coherence
of the text, on top of it being original and intersting. LET'S CORRECT
THE ENGLISH!!
- You are looking for help (not correction*) to
improve the quality of the English you have used in your text
(spelling, verb tenses, choice of vocabulary, verb agreement,
punctuation, word order).
- FEEDBACK (not correction*)
should be suggestions of where you may have made mistakes - in the
opinion of the person giving the feedback, of course!
- *YOU
are the final judge of what is a mistake or not. Therefore, it is your
obligation (and in your best interests) to validate
what has been suggested by the people helping you then
correct it if need be.
